What you will find here

Three kinds of health research publications and news

Publications are the health research publications of SRA staff, fellows and partners: peer-reviewed papers and reports. Each entry carries the full citation and a link to the journal or repository, and a plain-language summary of what the study found and why it matters for practice in Cameroon.

Events are dated activities: course start dates, ideation days where fellows present research topics for critique, campaign days in the community, and webinars in the online educational series.

Announcements are calls for participation in studies, application windows for mentorship cohorts and the expert network, and news from SHINE. The six newest announcements also run in the information bar at the top of every page.

Submitting an item

How partners and alumni add to this page

What can be listed?
Peer-reviewed papers, reports and theses by SRA staff, fellows, alumni and partners; events run by or with SRA; and calls for participation, applications and funding relevant to health researchers in Cameroon and the region.
What do you need from me?
For a publication: the full citation, the DOI or a link, and two or three sentences on what the study found. For an event: date, place or link, audience and a contact. For a call: the deadline, who is eligible and where to apply.
How long does it take?
Items are checked and published within a week of receipt. Announcements with a deadline are published first, and appear in the information bar at the top of every page as soon as they are live.
Do you edit submissions?
Yes, lightly: sentence case, British English, no filler words, and the citation in a standard format. We never change the findings or the authors, and we send the edited text back for approval if it has changed materially.
