Data analysis training Cameroon from Sintieh Research Academy teaches health professionals to analyse their own data and to read the analysis of others. Courses are hands-on: every participant works on a real dataset from the first session, and finishes with tables and figures ready for a report. We also deliver analysis as a service for teams that need results quickly.

What data analysis training includes
- Quantitative analysis in Stata, SPSS, R or Python: descriptive statistics, regression, survival analysis.
- Advanced Excel modelling for teams that stay in Excel.
- Qualitative analysis in NVivo: coding, themes and reporting.
- Visualisation and reporting to journal standards.
- Course materials, datasets and a certificate of completion.
Duration and format
The data analysis short course runs over two weeks, three evenings a week, online with an in-person day in Buea. Institutional training for a whole department is scheduled on request. Analysis as a service is quoted by dataset and question.

Our standards
Every piece of work follows a written protocol and, where people are involved, ethical approval before data collection. We report to the partner as well as to a journal, and we follow ICMJE authorship rules. As a result, partners can rely on what Sintieh Research Academy delivers, and readers can check every claim against its source. In addition, all of our data analysis training work is delivered by staff and fellows who have themselves published.
